cMFS is a collective organization committed to the application of moral force as a guiding principle for achieving sustainable rural community development by promoting the simple truth that the essence of sustainability is morality, and thus create positive models for a sustainable and equitable society.

We intend to adopt ethical practices throughout our community development processes -- starting from the preliminary concept and germination of ideas through to the implementation and review processes -- by internally adopting consilient and consensual decision making processes, which will synthesize all ideas into one, powerful ethical plan of action and roadmap for realization.

We intend to promote alternative development models and strategies -- such as the proliferation of appropriate hard and soft technologies and the institutionalization of participative processes -- that will empower the traditionally oppressed and downtrodden communities to intrinsically raise their standard of life through awareness and generation of self-confidence, despite the usual encumbrances put in their way by the entrenched staus quoism of established power-brokers and self-seekers.
